Wholesale jewellery orders involve real money and long supply chains, so payment terms are part of the specification. Here is exactly what we accept and when production starts.
Accepted methods
| Method | Best for | Clearing time | Notes |
|---|---|---|---|
| T/T bank transfer (USD, EUR, GBP) | Orders above USD 2,000 | 1–3 working days | Lowest cost; bank charges may apply at both ends |

| Western Union | Small and urgent orders | Same day | Fast but no chargeback protection |
| Alibaba Trade Assurance | Buyers who prefer platform escrow | 1–2 working days | Platform-mediated dispute resolution |
| Wise / Payoneer | Repeat buyers reducing FX cost | 1–2 working days | Good exchange rates for USD and EUR |
Payment schedule
- First order: 30% deposit to release production, 70% balance before shipment.
- Sample orders: 100% in advance, credited against your first bulk order above 200 pieces.
- Repeat orders: after three completed shipments we can discuss partial credit terms against a written agreement.
Documents issued with payment
- Proforma invoice — issued at order confirmation with specifications, quantities, unit values, freight and payment instructions.
- Deposit receipt — confirms the deposit and the scheduled production window.
- Commercial invoice — issued with the shipment, matching the packing list line for line for customs purposes.
- Packing list — SKU, quantity, net weight and certificate numbers per line.
- Certificate copies — matched to the stones supplied, where certification applies.
Anti-fraud rules we follow
- Bank details are printed on the proforma invoice only. We never send changed bank details by email or chat — if you receive such a message, call us before paying.
- The invoicing entity is always Wuzhou Holycome Jewelry Co., Ltd. and the account name must match it.
- We do not accept payment to personal accounts and we do not ask for cryptocurrency.
- Production starts only after funds clear, not on receipt of a payment screenshot.
Currency and exchange
Our default quotation currency is USD. EUR and GBP quotations are available, with the rate fixed for seven days from the quotation date. For orders with long production windows we can agree a rate validity period in writing.
Refunds
Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method within five working days of confirmation, or applied as a credit against your next order if you prefer. Bank charges incurred on the original transfer are not refundable.
Why we ask for a deposit rather than full payment
A 30% deposit covers material purchasing — metal is bought against confirmed orders because gold and silver prices move — while keeping your exposure limited until production is complete. It also aligns incentives: we have committed cost in the order, and you have not paid for goods you have not seen. Buyers who prefer to pay in full at confirmation are welcome to; some find it simplifies internal accounting, and we will hold the quoted metal price for the production window.
Handling exchange-rate movement
Gold and silver are priced in USD, so a long production window exposes both sides to currency movement. For orders quoted in EUR or GBP we hold the rate for seven days from the quotation date, and for longer windows we can agree a rate validity period in writing. Where an account orders regularly, quoting in USD and settling in USD usually produces the lowest total cost, because it removes one conversion from the chain.
Record-keeping for your own audit
Every payment is matched to a proforma or commercial invoice number, and we keep the documentation for the period required by Chinese export and accounting regulations. If your finance team needs a specific format — a supplier statement, a certificate of origin, or a breakdown between goods and freight for customs valuation — ask your account manager and we will prepare it with the shipment rather than after it lands.
